I am an entrepreneurial engineer and researcher committed to impactful innovations. Welcome to my website, where I share my academic life, research, and professional achievements. This platform highlights my dedication to advancing digital health innovations for everyone, anywhere, alongside my academic contributions at the University of Oxford and my professional service in esteemed organisations.

 

Huiqi is my official first name, pronounced as Hwei ch-ii. Many colleagues and friends call me Yvonne (middle name) or Luqi (nickname since childhood, pronounced as lu ch-ii).

In my academic role, I am enjoying my research in AI and swarm intelligence at the Department of Engineering Science, as well as teaching as a College Lecturer in Engineering at Worcester College, University of Oxford. 

 

In professional service, I have served as a workshop committee member and junior round table chair at notable conferences, including ICLR (PMLDC), NeurIPS (ML4H), IJCAI(KDHD), and the PHME. As a senior member of IEEE, a committee member of UK&Ireland EMBS, I actively contribute to the IEEE Standard Committee for P3191: Performance Monitoring of Machine Learning-enabled Medical Devices in Clinical Use. I am an Associate Editor (academic) of Nature npj Women's Health, and a co-editor of a Special Collection of Advances in AI for Women's Health, Reproductive Health, and Maternal Care: Bridging Innovation and Healthcare, and an editorial board member (statistics) of BMJ AI & Digital Health.
